Group dance and rhythmic gymnastics College Madrigal

Objectives:

1. Creating a healthy environment of participation, friendliness and fun for students.

2. Developing independence, cooperation and respect through teamwork.

3. Developing creativity.

4. Managing coordinated skills such as rhythm, coordination, balance and agility.

5. Working conditional capacities, flexibility, speed, strength and endurance.

6. Improving basic skills, movement, jumps, turns and throws.

Contents: 1. There are two 60 minute classes. 2. The structure of the class is a warm-up, development of the exercises and stretches and relaxation to finish. 3. Music is played during the whole class.
 

Activities:  1. Circuits: To work flexibility and resistance, in addition to force and speed. 2. Swedish Jumping, abdominal exercises, balancing on a rope, strides. 3. Students will choose a prop and invent a dance, which they will teach to their partners. 4. Throwing in pairs. 5. Student dances for the class, performing jumps, balancing etc. This student then chooses another student and they must continue the dance. 6. Every pupil performs their individual dance, perfecting their exercises.

 

Evaluation Process: A school report is made for each student, in which the progression of the student is observed.

Equipment: Pavilion, Sports Center, Music Center, hoops, balls and ropes.
