What is Cambridge?

Cambridge is a set of progressive tests, internationally recognized for measuring language skills and knowledge of English. It is aligned with the prestigious University of Cambridge, which recognised in the United Kingdom by the Qualifications Authority and Curricula (agency of the Department of Education, British Government). This agency governs and accredits all organizations that offers certifications in the UK. 

 

Who is Cambridge directed to?

All students beginning with those who are seven years old (second year of primary level).

 

What certificates are there?

Cambridge ESOL offers certified testing, which includes a title for life. It assesses the level of English at the time the test is taken. It is not possible to fail an exam, but no diploma or certificate will be given. Tests are available in six levels of difficulty from elementary to advanced: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. These levels have been extensively and accurately defined by the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference.

 

When and where can the exams be taken?

The month in which the exams may be taken varies from year to year, however they usually take place at the end of April or the beginning of May. The exams will be taken at the school.
